90 Day Fiancé alum Eric Rosenbrook is facing new legal trouble only days after he and his wife Leida Margaretha’s newborn baby, daughter Alisa, died, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
On Monday, July 14, Rosenbrook had two citations filed against him in court: operating while under the influence and possessing an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle. The reality star had no comment about the accusations when contacted by Us.
The citations related to an encounter that the Adams Police Department had with Rosenbrook, 47, on July 5. Officers were looking for the reality star after he was accused of slapping his wife.
According to court documents obtained by Us, Rosenbrook’s wife, only identified as “LNM” in the criminal complaint, told officers Rosenbrook started an argument after she told him he drinks too much.
The alleged victim said she picked up their daughter. She said Rosenbrook wanted to hold her but she was afraid to allow him to hold their baby due to Rosenbrook allegedly being drunk.
The report said Rosenbrook’s wife feared he would drop the child. She claimed he slapped her after she made another comment about his drinking.
Rosenbrook’s wife told police she moved into the apartment to get away from him. She said she was not sure where he was living. She said there had been physical violence in the relationship, “approximately 2-3 times a year.”
Officers noted Rosenbrook’s wife also accused him of having a history of alcohol abuse.
Rosenbrook was not present at the home when police arrived. Officers searched the nearby area and local bars but were unsuccessful.
The following day, officers encountered a white Audi with its lights on in a parking lot. “He observed a lone male occupant in the driver’s seat, identified as Eric, based on the video that LNM had shown Officer Godard. Officer Godard observed an open intoxicant in the driver’s side cup holder.”
The officer knocked on the window to wake Rosenbrook up. The reality star was then detained and questioned.
Court documents read, “Officer Godard asked if anything physical happened between them. After a pause, Eric stated he might’ve slapped her.” The officers noted they observed a “strong odor of an intoxicant “coming from Rosenbrook’s breath while speaking with him.” When they asked if he was willing to perform a field sobriety test, Rosenbrook told them, “not really.”
The officers placed Rosenbrook under arrest and searched his car. They found a half-full “CutWater, Lemon drop martini” inside the car. Officers also told Rosenbrook he was being arrested for operating while under the influence, first offense.
At the jail, the police tried to question Rosenbrook, but he had little to say.
The report noted, “A few minutes later, without provocation, Eric said, ‘Not even my ex wife, who drove me to f***ing divorce her, drove me to fucking slap her, so’. Eric said, ‘She’s nowhere near as toxic as f***ing my current wife.’”
Prosecutors charged Rosenbrook with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

As Us first reported, Margaretha, 36, filed for a temporary restraining order on July 7. She submitted an alleged photo of her injuries from the July 4 incident at her apartment.
Rosenbrook spoke to Us about the allegations. He admitted he and his wife got into a fight on July 4 where he hit her. He said Margaretha was holding their daughter at the time but was adamant he didn’t hurt his daughter. Rosenbrook said he and Margaretha broke up following the incident.
On July 10, Rosenbrook announced his child with Margaretha had passed. “It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend tragedy has struck,” Rosenbrook wrote on Facebook on Thursday, July 10. “Yesterday at 12:53 PM after 5 days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom.”
