Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt may have his eye on the football field, but his heart lies with his family.
Fans of the Chiefs know that Clark and his wife, Tavia Hunt, are staples at NFL games alongside their three children: daughters Gracie and Ava and son Knobel Hunt.
“I would say that’s really the cornerstone for our family. Faith, family and football,” Tavia told KSHB in September 2022. “But we say football is family because for us we really believe that we were made for relationships.”
The family has also embraced Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as one of their own. “I think indirectly the NFL has seen an impact,” Clark said of the pop star’s impact on football in a February 2025 interview with CNBC Sport ahead of Super Bowl LIX. “Certainly our fan base took a big leap forward last year, particularly with female [fans] — specifically young female fans.”
He continued, “I think we had something, like, a 30 percent growth in our fan base, which is pretty significant even for a team that won the Super Bowl. So you definitely have to give Taylor a little bit of credit for that.”

Tavia Hunt
Clark tied the knot with Tavia in 1993, the same year she was crowned Miss Kansas USA. Tavia also served as Miss Missouri Teen USA in 1990.
Gracie Hunt
The eldest child of Clark and Tavia was born in 1999. Gracie followed in her mother’s pageantry footsteps, winning Miss Texas Teen International in 2016 and 2018 and Miss Kansas USA in 2021.
Gracie graduated from Southern Methodist University, where she studied sports management and broadcast journalism. She also earned her master’s in education from the University of Kansas. After school, Gracie transitioned to working with the Chiefs for marketing and brand development.
Knobel Hunt
Clark and Tavia’s son, Knobel, arrived in 2002. He earned a bachelor’s in business administration from Southern Methodist University in 2025, where he played for the soccer team. After graduation, Knobel began working at JP Morgan Chase.
Ava Hunt
Ava shares a birthday with sister Gracie, but with a six-year age gap. The youngest of Clark and Tavia’s children, Ava, was born in 2005. Like her siblings, Ava attends Southern Methodist University. She committed to the school for cheerleading in 2024.

Lamar Hunt
Clark’s father helped found the American Football League with a new team called the Dallas Texans in 1959, which was later moved to Kansas City and renamed the Chiefs. (The American Football League merged with the NFL in 1970.) Lamar died in 2006 at age 74.
Extended Family
In July 2025, Tavia shared that one of their extended family members, Janie, died in the Texas flash floods while at Camp Mystic. (Janie was reportedly the great-granddaughter of William Herbert Hunt, who was brother to Lamar.)
“Our hearts are broken by the devastation from the floods in Wimberley and the tragic loss of so many lives — including a precious little Hunt cousin, along with several friend’s [sic] little girls,” Tavia wrote via her Instagram Story at the time.
