Blake Lively Rocks Netted See-Through Top in Daring Look at NYC Event

Blake Lively turned the sidewalk into her personal runway, rocking a daring look for a New York City event. And no, Upper East Siders, this wasn’t a Serena van der Woodsen flashback.

The former Gossip Girl star, 38, stepped out wearing a see-through burgundy netted top that gave a peek at her décolletage and midriff, layered under a brown blazer featuring a statement brooch. She paired the garments with a high-waisted brown midi skirt on Friday, September 5.

Lively completed her eye-catching ensemble with lace-up, blue suede knee-high boots that had matching burgundy buttons. She accessorized with a structured silver choker and a gemstone cuff bracelet, also opting for a patterned, embellished clutch that added yet another pop of color to her outfit.

As for her glam, the actress went for a glowy vibe and a soft, curled hairstyle.

Lively was in good spirits, waving to onlookers and even taking photos with fans — including one dog — while en route to the Glossy Pop event, which is timed to the “kick-off of New York Fashion Week” and the place to go for “beauty and fashion lovers looking to get up close and personal with the industry’s most exciting brands and content creators.”

Attendees can enjoy immersive brand experiences, conversations with insiders, networking opportunities and gift bags worth over $800 with products from Fenty and more brands.

While she was out and about in the Big Apple, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, has been spending time in Canada. (The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, share four kids: daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and 2-year-old son Olin.)

Reynolds, 48, attended the TIFF premiere of the new documentary John Candy: I Like Me, which he produced, on Thursday, September 4. Director Colin Hanks posed for photos with the Deadpool star on the red carpet in honor of the premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The late comedian’s kids, Jennifer Candy-Sullivan and Christopher Candy, who also served as producers, joined the group on the red carpet.
