Bank holding company Business First Bancshares (NASDAQ:BFST) announced on Monday the acquisition of Progressive Bancorp.

Business First expects to issue about 3.05M shares of common stock to Progressive stockholders. Progressive investors are expected to own ~9.3% of the combined company.
