CG Power Share News: CG Power and Industrial Solutions (CGPOWER) shares staged strong moves on Friday, as investors cheered the news that the engineering company's subsidiary, CM Semis, will be launching its first OSAT or outsourced semiconductor assembly and test faclity, in Sanand, Gujarat. The company said that the launch is set to make CG Semi becomes one of the country's first full-service OSAT providers, offering solutions across both traditional and advanced packaging technologies, according to a filing.

At around noon, the stock of Mumbai-headquartered CG Power and Industrial Solutions held on strongly to the green, trading 5.1 per cent higher at Rs 697.7 apiece on BSE.
The stock traded in large volumes and close to its intraday high, having risen by as much as Rs 34.5, or 5.2 per cent, to Rs 698.2 apiece on the bourse during the session.
More than 6 lakh CG Power shares changed hands on the bourse in intraday trade so far, sharply higher than a daily average of 1.3 lakh recorded in the past two weeks, according to provisional exchange data.
