While Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s whirlwind romance was always something special, their relationship continued to bloom after they welcomed their three children. The Marvel star and the model tied the knot in 2010 after less than a year of dating. Two years later, they became a family of three with the birth of their daughter, India, in May 2012. Less than two years later, the family grew even more when they welcomed twin boys, Tristan and Sasha, in March 2014. The following year, Hemsworth said that seeing the Spain native tackle motherhood made him fall even more in love with her. "Once we had kids we were like, 'We're in it, this is it.' All of a sudden I had a greater appreciation for my wife, she kind of came into her own when we had kids,” he told WHO magazine. “She certainly keeps me sane. After Pataky asked fans to pick who was the cutest in a photo of her and her husband holding koalas with one of their children in 2018, commenters responded that they simply couldn’t choose.

Alongside the caption, he shared a pair of videos. In one, he held hands and ran with India while she stood on a skateboard. In the second, Pataky ran alongside their daughter while she rode a pony.

“Don’t try this at home,” the Avengers: Infinity War star wrote via Instagram in December 2021 as his son shot a rubber arrow over his head to tip over a water bottle. The tiny archer didn’t hit the mark on his first try, though. The actor added, “Took 63 shots in the back of the head before nailing it. Worth it. This stunt was performed by a couple lunatics with complete disregard for their own safety.”

The Snow White and the Huntsman actor joked about how his little ones helped him test out his latest fitness regimen by crawling all over him in February 2022. “As Founder of @centrfit, I take my role in personally trying out every program seriously,” he captioned a series of Instagram photos of his kids using him as a human jungle gym. “This one was a full body and emotionally taxing workout specifically designed for parents. It didn’t make the cut.”

The proud papa shared a throwback photo for Tristan and Sasha's birthday. "Happy 8th birthday to my boys! If your [sic] asking if they’re allowed to wear any other super hero outfits besides Thor the answer is no 😘🎉," Hemsworth jokingly captioned the snap from their toddler days.

Pataky shared a selfie with daughter India from a boat ride they took on vacation.

The Centr app cofounder shared a photo of his wife and three children having breakfast in bed. "Happy Mother’s Day to all the brilliant mums out there!!🙏 ❤️," he captioned the snap via Instagram.

The twins accompanied mom and dad down the red carpet at the Australian premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder.

"It was really cool. They really wanted to be in it. Taika [Waititi] had his children in there. Christian Bale had his. Natalie [Portman] had her kids, as well," the Marvel actor revealed to Good Day DC ahead of the movie's release. "It felt sort of like a one-off, fun family experience. I don't want them to be child stars and actors. It was just a special experience we all had."

Sasha and India appear in other scenes in the movie, with the big sister landing a few lines at the end of the film.

Hemsworth's three kids celebrated their dad's 39th birthday by giving him a special gift. "Thanks for all the birthday love! And this tremendous cake that my kids made by scooping all the left over ice cream out of the freezer onto a plate 😂😂 ," the movie star captioned an adorable video of his children singing him "Happy Birthday."

The proud dad showed off his twin boys and their friends dirt biking around a hilly landscape as he captured the action. "Taught the kids to ride a couple years ago then they started lapping me so I got delegated to camera man," Hemsworth joked in the caption of the Instagram set that detailed the festivities. 

"So fun watching them honing their skills and having a hell of a time," he continued. "Froth levels were at an all time high!" 

The Marvel star joked about his latest adventure with his little ones, writing via Instagram, “Kids wanted to go on a boat trip. This is the best we could do. They might have been slightly disappointed.”

“Sport has always been an essential part of my life. I’ve played and watched so many different types over the years. But the one that I’ve always loved the most is surfing,” the action star wrote via Instagram, sharing throwback family photos. “Growing up, my dad would pack my brothers and me in the Kombi van to take the hour-and-a-half ride to the beach to surf. Surfing gave me an active lifestyle, but most importantly, it gave me the best memories with my family.”

He added: “Surfing remains a mainstay in my life and has become a part of my identity, and I continue to make memories with my own family in the ocean.”

“They’ll be the first ones to tell you, it was really hard in the beginning,” the insider told Us. “The kids were still in diapers and Chris’ career was taking off — he was working nonstop.”

Now that their kids are growing up and becoming more independent, Hemsworth and Pataky are “closer than ever.”

While celebrating the premiere of National Geographic’s new project, Limitless: Live Better Now, Hemsworth invited his wife and kids Tristan and Sasha to pose for photos on the red carpet in London.
