Edtech startup Arivihan gets $4.17 million funding in pre-Series A round

Edtech startup Arivihan founded by IIT Roorkee alumni Ritesh Singh Chandel and Sonu Kumar along with seasoned math educator Rushabh Kothari in 2024, has raised $4.17 million in its pre-Series A round of funding, the company said in a statement today, July 31.

The fresh round was led by Prosus Ventures and Accel, with participation from GSF Investors. 

The Bengaluru-based AI startup plans to use the money for its expansion. It will expand into three more states, strengthen its AI research and language support capabilities, and scale its on-ground marketing and distribution strategy, it said in the official statement.

Earlier, Arivihan raised $7,50,000 in seed round from Accel Atoms.

The startup claims to be the country's first-ever fully automated online learning platform, providing one-on-one, interactive, and personalised high-quality lectures 
in all the vernacular languages of our country at just 10% of the current fee, especially for 200 million low-income/middle-class families’ K-12 students in tier 2+ cities.

In the startup space this week, Guwahati-based startup Littlebox raised $2 million seed funding. The round was co-led by Huddle Ventures and Prath Ventures, according to a company's statement. Read more
