Evan Rachel Wood and her ex-husband, Jamie Bell, worked out a unique custody deal for their son — which includes living in two different states — Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On September 9, Wood, 38, filed court docs detailing the new arrangement she worked out with Bell, 39, for the 2025/2026 school year.

Wood and Bell, who were married from 2012 to 2014, share a son named Jack, born in 2013.

Per the deal, the exes will continue to share joint legal and physical custody. Wood and Bell will alternate months with their son.

The actress, who lives in Tennessee, said they changed the custody deal after Bell decided to move from Los Angeles to New York in August.

Jack will spend a month in Tennessee, followed by a month in New York, and then alternate between the states every four weeks. They agreed to work out Bell being allowed to see Jack when he is in Tennessee, too.

Wood and Bell also worked out who gets Jack on holidays and summer vacation.

The exes agreed to split the cost of Jack’s traveling back and forth. Each parent can decide who will travel with their son on the flights.

Each parent will get to decide what activities their son does when he is with them, per the filing. In addition, they are allowed two calls with Jack per week when he is with the other parent.

Per the exes’ previous 2022 custody agreement, Wood and Bell both waived the right to collect child support.

The deal read, “The parties acknowledge and agree that at this time they are entering into this [judgment], each party has sufficient assets and income to support Jack according to his reasonable needs while Jack is in” their custody.

Back in 2023, Wood reportedly modified the custody arrangement to allow Jack to live with Bell in Los Angeles for a short period of time. At the time, the Westworld actress had spoken out against her ex-boyfriend, Marilyn Manson and accused him of abuse. The rockstar denied the claims of abuse.

In court documents, according to The Blast, Wood wrote, “I am extremely afraid of the alleged offender. I have suffered a severe, traumatic physical and emotional injury at his hands, and I am afraid that he will seek retribution against me for testifying by harming me, our son, and members of our family.”

Bell filed his own docs claiming Wood had been interfering with his custodial time. “Whatever fears Evan may have regarding third parties should have nothing to do with me or custody of our son.”

Wood and Bell appear to have worked out their issues and are on the same page regarding Jack.

Bell went on to marry actress Kate Mara in 2017, and they have two children of their own. (In March, Bell and Mara, 42, listed their Los Angeles home for $4.98 million.)
