Gold and Silver Prices Today, 30 May 2025: Gold prices in Friday's session traded on a weak note with Gold June futures falling 0.33 per cent or Rs 311 to Rs 95,078 per 10 gm. Silver prices for the July futures, meanwhile, traded with a loss of 0.6 per cent or Rs 570 at Rs 97,256 per kg.
Prices traded on a cautious note as investors awaited key US inflation data that would provide Fed's likely stance on interest rates going forward.
In the previous session, gold prices fell but later recovered ground after the US President said for appealing against court ruling which resulted in blocking the Trump's 'Liberation Day' tariffs.
International gold and silver price rate movement
Gold prices in the spot market internationally traded lower by 0.55 per cent at $3,300.85 per ounce. Meanwhile, in the futures market - the price is quoting at $3,323.94 per ounce, declining 0.62 per cent.
On the other hand, silver futures traded higher by 0.64 per cent at $33.20 per ounce, while silver traded with a cut of 0.65 per cent at $33.1 per ounce.
Gold price movement on Thursday
Gold August futures contract were settled at $3,343.90 per troy ounce up by 0.65 per cent and silver July futures contract were settled at $33.424 per troy ounce, up by 0.80 per cent . Domestic markets were also settled on a positive note. Gold June futures contract settled at Rs95,389 per 10 grams with a gain of 0.12 per cent and silver July futures contract settled at Rs97,826 per kilogram with a gain of 0.59 per cent.

Manoij Jain, Commodity Expert- IndiaNivesh said, "We expect gold and silver prices to remain volatile in today’s session amid volatility in the dollar index, geo-political tensions and ahead of the key U.S. economic data; gold prices could hold its support level of $3,250 per troy ounce and silver prices could also hold $32.80 per troy ounce levels on a weekly closing basis. Gold has support at $3320-3294, while resistance at $3368-3388 per troy ounce and silver has support at $33.20-32.88, while resistance is at $33.70-34.00 per troy ounce in today’s session. At mcx, gold is having support at 95000-94600 and resistance at 95800-96160 while silver is having support at 97100-96600 and resistance at 98300-99100.
Trading strategies
Manoj Jain- Commodity Expert - India Nivesh suggests buying silver around 97200-96800 with a stop loss of 96400 for the target of 98400.
