Audi India Price Cut: After Mercedes-Benz, luxury carmaker Audi has also announced revised prices across its model range following the introduction of GST 2.0. The recently updated tax structure announced by the GST Council has prompted auto manufacturers to introduce new prices in anticipation of increased demand during the festive season. Audi has announced significant discounts on both its SUVs and sedans, with benefits ranging from Rs 2.6 lakh to Rs 7.8 lakh, depending on the model.
According to the company, the updated prices make Audi’s range of luxury cars and SUVs more accessible, adding momentum to customer demand ahead of the festive season.
GST 2.0 effect on Auto sector
Under the new GST 2.0 framework, the Council has approved the removal of two tax slabs — 12 per cent and 28 per cent. As part of this restructuring, petrol, petrol-hybrid, LPG, and CNG-powered passenger cars with engine capacities below 1200 cc and within the sub-4 metre category will now attract a reduced GST rate of 18 per cent, down by 1,000 basis points from the earlier 28 per cent.

Audi Q3
Among the discounted models, the Audi Q3 has received a significant price cut. Earlier priced at Rs 46.14 lakh, ex-showroom, the Q3 is now available at Rs 43.07 lakh, giving buyers a direct benefit of Rs 3.07 lakh.
Audi Q5
The Audi Q5, one of the brand's best-selling midsize SUVs, has also become more affordable now. Its price has come down from Rs 68.30 lakh to Rs 63.75 lakh, which represents a benefit of Rs 4.55 lakh under the new GST regime.
Audi Q7
The price of Audi's SUV Q7 has also come down significantly. Earlier, its price was Rs 92.29 lakh, which is now available for Rs 86.14 lakh, that is, it is Rs 6.15 lakh cheaper than before.
Audi Q8
The biggest discount in this lineup is being offered on the flagship Audi Q8. This car, which was earlier priced at Rs 1.17 crore, is now selling for Rs 1.09 crore, i.e., its price has come down by Rs 7.83 lakh.
Audi A4
In the sedan category, the Audi A4 has also benefited from the GST rate revision. The A4, which was earlier priced at Rs 48.89 lakh, is now available at Rs 46.25 lakh, reducing its price by Rs 2.64 lakh.
Audi A6
The price of the Audi A6 has also been reduced drastically. Earlier, its price was Rs 67.38 lakh, which has now become Rs 63.74 lakh, that is, it has become cheaper by Rs 3.64 lakh than before.
