Initial jobless claims for the week ended June 28 stood at 233K, vs. 240K consensus and the revised 237K the prior week, the Department of Labor said on Thursday.

The 4-week moving average was 241.50K, vs. the previous week's revised 245.25K. 

Continuing claims were 1,964K, vs. 1,960K consensus. The continuing jobless claims were unchanged from the prior week's revised 1,964K.
