Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, son of Jason Momoa, and rising actor Ida Brooke (Silo) are set to join Dune 3 as the twin children of Paul Atreides and Chani, according to Deadline.

In Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated follow-up to Dune: Part Two, the newcomers will portray Leto II and Ghanima, the “pre-born” offspring of Paul (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya). The twins, introduced at the end of Frank Herbert’s Dune: Messiah, are born with prescient abilities and ancestral memories — key traits that will shape the future of the franchise canon.

While plot details remain tightly guarded, the casting signals a narrative time jump. Villeneuve appears to be merging events from Dune: Messiah and Children of Dune, accelerating the arc of Paul’s rise and reckoning as Emperor Muad’Dib. The inclusion of older actors in the roles suggests the twins will play a central part in the story, not just appear as infants.

This will be Nakoa-Wolf Momoa’s film debut, and it may mark a rare on-screen pairing with his father, Jason Momoa, who is expected to return as a resurrected ghola version of Duncan Idaho.

Villeneuve, who has turned Dune into a box office powerhouse with the first two chapters earning $1.12 billion globally and racking up eight Oscars, is closing in on the final act of his trilogy. While a title and release date for Dune 3 have yet to be announced, casting momentum is building. Robert Pattinson is rumored to play shapeshifting antagonist Scytale, and returning cast members like Florence Pugh, Javier Bardem, and Anya Taylor-Joy are expected.
