Jeep India on July 17 officially unveiled the Trail Editions of its popular SUVs – the Jeep Compass and Jeep Meridian. The special editions bring fresh styling updates, rugged design elements, and new ownership perks under the brand's latest ‘Jeep Trust’ program. Both Trail Editions are now available across dealerships starting July 15, 2025.
Exterior Highlights: Trail-themed styling
The Jeep Compass Trail Edition receives a bold exterior makeover featuring exclusive Trail Edition hood and side decals, matte black grille accents, and Neutral Grey treatment across multiple elements. This includes the grille rings, DLO and backlight moldings, roof rail inserts, ORVMs, badges, and rear fascia applique. A red-accented front lower fascia adds visual punch. The look is rounded off by Granite Metallic Satin Gloss 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and rugged roof rails.
Interior Upgrades: Sporty yet practical
Inside, both Compass and Meridian Trail Editions carry forward a more adventurous persona. The cabins come with black leatherette upholstery, Ignite Red mid-bolster accents on the dashboard, and red contrast stitching on the seats, gear boot, and steering wheel. A dark camouflage graphic enhances the cabin’s rugged appeal, while Trail Edition-branded all-weather mats underline the utility focus.
Performance: No change in powertrain
Under the hood, the Trail Editions continue with the tried-and-tested 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel engine, producing 170 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque — identical to their standard counterparts. The mechanicals remain unchanged, offering reliable performance for on-road and off-road driving alike.
Pricing and availability
The Jeep Compass and Meridian Trail Editions are priced from Rs 25.41 lakh (ex-showroom). These special variants aim to appeal to adventure seekers who want distinctive styling without compromising on capability.
