Jennifer Lopez Laughs Off Wardrobe Malfunction As Skirt Falls During Concert

Jennifer Lopez didn’t let a potentially disastrous onstage wardrobe malfunction get her down.

The singer, 56, was performing live in Warsaw, Poland, on Friday, July 25, when the skirt she wore over a golden two-piece ensemble fell down. Though she was clearly surprised, Lopez laughed off the wardrobe malfunction and continued with the performance before a backup dancer helped the singer adjust her skirt.

The moment was captured by journalist Patryk Wasowski and shared via Instagram on Saturday, July 26.

Despite the onstage mishap, Lopez has been enjoying her summer performing, kicking off her Up All Night: Live in 2025 world tour in Pontevedra, Spain, on July 8. The singer will also stop by the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Uzbekistan before the tour wraps up in Sardinia, Italy, on August 12.

The tour comes a year after Lopez canceled her This Is Me… Live tour as she and Ben Affleck were navigating their divorce.

“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” Lopez said in an email sent to fans at the time. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time …”

Lopez and Affleck finalized their divorce in February 2025.

In addition to thrilling fans on stage — wardrobe malfunctions and all — Lopez also recently celebrated her 56th birthday on Thursday, July 24.

The singer shared a series of photos via Instagram in honor of the big day, including a beautiful makeup-free selfie. In the photo, Lopez can be seen wearing a blue-and-white striped top.

“BirthDAY 🩷🧡💚 📍Antalya, Turkey What a gift you all are! Thank you so much for all your beautiful birthday wishes,” she captured the photos.

The singer’s backup dancers and singers surprised her by singing “Happy Birthday” during her Wednesday, July 23, performance at the Regnum Carya hotel in Antalya.

“I don’t like to give advice to anybody. I feel life is a journey, and we all have lessons to learn and are just doing the best we can as we go along the way,” Lopez told the crowd.

“Do what you love with people that you love. You can never go wrong. You will go [through] every day happy,” Lopez continued. I believe that the happiness that you have in your heart is directly tied to the people around you and to how free you can feel around the people around you. And I hope that each one of you can feel as happy and as free as you made me feel tonight.”
