Joshua Jackson Strolls and Smiles With Simone Ashley in NYC in New Photo

Joshua Jackson seems to be enjoying his time in the Big Apple — especially while taking a stroll with Simone Ashley through the busy New York City streets.

The actor, 47, was spotted walking with the actress, 30, on Saturday, August 9. Ashley wore a flowy mint green top with lace detailing and thin straps. She paired the look with a neutral snakeskin-printed skirt and white sneakers. Ashley accessorized her fashion-forward look with sunglasses and a lime green Prada tote bag.

Jackson went casual for the outing, pairing a white T-shirt with gray cargo pants and gray sneakers. The twosome laughed and chatted as they walked side by side.

The outing comes a few months after the Doctor Odyssey actor settled his divorce from Jodie Turner-Smith in May. He was also previously linked to Lupita Nyong’o, but she confirmed their split in October 2024.

Ashley, for her part, recently revealed that she was single after her split from Constantin “Tino” Klein.

“It’s about self-growth, and I am looking for someone who is so confident in themselves and is really ready to have an open heart in the same way I do. And I think that’s hard to find,” she told People in March of her single era.

She added, “I’m not in a rush. It can be easy to jump into the next thing immediately, which is something that I am choosing not to do.”

Ashley said that she wanted to take her time “to find the right person for me and to work on myself — to grow, and to focus on my work.”

“I’ve got such an incredible year ahead and I’m up to such exciting things,” she continued. “And I have the most amazing family and friends around me. So I’m working on my heart and on myself and on my confidence.”

Over the past few months, Jackson has been spotted in NYC filming Happy Hours, his upcoming film trilogy with Dawson’s Creek costar Katie Holmes.

The pair’s reunion and set photos have sent fans into a frenzy, with many gushing over their sweet bond and hoping that a Dawson’s Creek revival may also be in the works.

Dawson’s Creek creator Kevin Williamson previously opened up about the possibility of a reboot happening.

“We keep talking about it, but no, as of now, it’s not in the pipeline,” he explained during the TV Critics’ Association summer press tour in August 2019. “We kind of ended it. The last episode was five years in the future. We put a nice button to it. Jen [Michelle Williams’ character] died. What are we going to do? We’ve talked about it, but until we can find a reason to do it … we come up with ideas, but no, as of now, no.”
