Kapoor father-son duo purchases premium apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West

Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor, along with his son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, has purchased a luxury apartment in the upscale neighbourhood of Bandra West, Mumbai, for Rs 5 crore, according to property documents accessed by real estate marketplace Square Yards from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra website. The transaction was officially registered in August 2025.

The newly acquired property is located in Smoky Hill CHS Ltd, a premium residential complex known for its high-end amenities and strategic location. This apartment has a built-up area of ​​108.25 sq m (approximately 1,165 sq ft) and a carpet area of ​​970.71 sq ft (approximately 90 sq m). This purchase also includes a dedicated garage space. Under this transaction, stamp duty of Rs 30 lakh and registration fee of Rs 30,000 was paid.

Bandra West is recognised as one of Mumbai’s most established and high-value real estate markets, offering a combination of premium residential and commercial properties. The locality comprises a mix of upscale apartments, heritage bungalows, and boutique commercial developments, attracting both end-users and investors. The area is well-connected through the Western Express Highway, Bandra railway station, and upcoming Metro lines, with proximity to major business districts such as Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
