Kelly Stafford Hints at Misconduct Claims Against Podcast Cohost

8 hours ago 1

Kelly Stafford addressed the allegations of sexual misconduct made against her “The Morning After” podcast cohost, Hank Winchester.

“I know that ‘TMA’ has looked a little differently over the last few weeks,” Stafford, 36, said on the Friday, July 18 episode. “Summer is a lot for all of us. I’ve been traveling a bunch. Hank is dealing with some personal stuff. Bear with us there.”

Winchester has appeared on a handful of special interview episodes of the podcast since the allegations came to light last month, but he has not been part of the regular weekly episodes.

Stafford’s husband, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, has joined the show multiple times in Winchester’s absence.

Kelly hinted that Winchester’s hiatus from the show would not be lasting much longer, however.

“The NFL season is just around the corner,” she continued. “Soon you will be getting plenty of us, I’m sure. It’s all a lot.”

Winchester’s Michigan home was raided on June 13 in relation to a sexual misconduct investigation.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, a search warrant was executed at his residence and electronics were seized after Winchester was accused of making sexual advances during a massage.

Winchester, who is also a longtime reporter at WDIV Local 4 in Detroit, has reportedly been studying massage therapy.

WDIV placed Winchester on administrative leave on June 18. He has not appeared on the network since.

“While the investigation is ongoing — we won’t make any further comments,” WDIV said in a statement.

In a statement to Fox 2, Winchester’s attorney, Todd Flood, denied the allegations against his client.

“Hank has spent decades bringing truth to our community and fighting for our citizens,” the statement read. “Because he holds a high-profile position in our community, that can at times generate false accusations. This investigation will end where it began — nowhere.”

Winchester and Kelly met when Matthew, 37, was quarterback of the Detroit Lions from 2009 to 2020. He and Kelly launched “The Morning After” podcast in 2021.

On Friday’s episode, Kelly discussed her family’s recent travels, which has included trips to Georgia and Montana.

“If there is any chance for y’all or anybody to take a road trip out to Montana, you should,” she said. “That place, in general, is so special. I feel like your anxiety level about life and s*** that doesn’t matter just goes to a zero.”

Matthew and Kelly share four daughters: twins Sawyer and Chandler, 8, Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 5.

Kelly added, “You get there and everything is about the outdoors, getting your kids outside and getting them dirty.”
