LIC sets Guinness World Record for most life insurance policies sold in a day

The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has achieved a remarkable milestone, earning a prestigious title from Guinness World Records for the “Most Life Insurance Policies Sold in 24 Hours.”

According to an official confirmation from Guinness World Records, LIC secured this global recognition on January 20, 2025, after an extraordinary nationwide effort by its agency network. On that day alone, 4,52,839 LIC agents successfully completed and issued 5,88,107 life insurance policies, marking an unprecedented level of productivity in the insurance sector.
