Calah Jackson isn’t above name-calling amid her drama with on-off boyfriend Steven McBee Jr.’s brothers during season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys.
Calah found herself at odds with Steven’s siblings Jesse McBee and Cole McBee as well as their significant others Alli Ventresca and Kacie Adkison to start the new Bravo season, which premiered on Monday, June 30. In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek of episode 2, it’s clear that their rift isn’t going away anytime soon.
“Did you actually call Cole and Jesse, hillbilly f***s? Hillbilly yeehaw f***s?” Kacie asks Calah in the preview for the Monday, July 7, episode.
The clip then flashes back 10 days prior to reveal that Calah allegedly told Kacie that her boyfriend, Cole, and his brother Jesse were not her cup of tea. (The feud stems from Steven’s siblings not reaching out to Calah after her sister died suddenly in May 2024.)
“So, Calah, you guys sit down and talk?” Cole asks his girlfriend, Kacie, while out on the ranch, noting that Kacie and Calah were also at odds over her alleged lack of support for the death of her sister.
Kacie alleges that Calah told her, “She doesn’t give a f*** about you and Jesse and thinks you’re hillbilly f***s.”
In the present day, Calah explains herself to Kacie, claiming, “Honestly, I’ve never used that term, hillbilly yeehaw f***s. I did say hillbillies though.”
Calah tells the cameras that she was “angry” when she lashed out at Steven’s brothers. “People get into fights all the time. We’ve all said things that we don’t mean,” she explains. “I don’t actually think that they’re hillbillies. I literally live in Gallatin, Missouri, with them.”
Calah reveals that she “texted” Steven that she thought the guys were “hillbillies” but didn’t expect him to tattle.
Kacie admits it is worse than Steven just telling Cole and Jesse about Calah’s name-calling, telling her that he said it in front of their mom, Kristi McBee.
“He was over here saying that you don’t like any of us and told me not to talk to you anymore,” Kacie claims, which leaves Calah speechless.
After composing herself, Calah says it’s “funny” that Steven is painting her as a villain to his family when he allegedly is spreading the same lies about them to her.
“He’s said to me that y’all hate me. He’s like, ‘You don’t want to like my family,’” Calah alleges, pointing out that she “literally flew up here the day after my sister’s funeral to spend time with your family. I’m still living here.”
She notes, “Obviously, I’m choosing to be here. I don’t have to be here. I can leave whenever the f*** I want to leave.”
Calah then claims that she’s been “grieving my sister alone” and Steven hasn’t “made any effort to try and get [the family] back together.”
Kacie agrees, saying Steven’s recent actions “probably made it worse” for Calah and the McBee clan.
Calah began dating the eldest McBee brother, Steven, after they met on Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer in 2022. At the end of season 1 of The McBee Dynasty, which aired in spring 2024, Calah and Steven had become Instagram official after dating on and off for years.
When season 2 — which filmed in late summer 2024 — premiered last week, Calah and Steven had just gotten back together after another break. During the June 30 episode, Kacie, Cole, Jesse and his then-fiancée, Alli, weren’t talking with Calah. (Jesse and Alli tied the knot in October 2024.)
They all claimed that Steven told them not to reach out to Calah in May 2024 about her sister dying, even though before their split the three couples were all close. Calah admitted in the episode that it really hurt that the family and the girls, specifically, didn’t even send a text to console her at that time.

The season 2 premiere ended with Kacie, who was then pregnant with her and Cole’s first baby, being rushed to the hospital over an anxiety attack ahead of seeing Calah for the first time since their falling out. (Kacie and Cole welcomed their daughter, Blair, in December 2024.)
According to Us’ season 2, episode 2, preview, Calah and Kacie eventually talk, but it’s clear that the tension is still there.
The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
