McBee Dynasty’s Jesse Reveals Alli Was Secretly Pregnant at Their Wedding

The McBee Dynasty’s Jesse McBee was admittedly stressed out before marrying wife Alli McBee last fall — but it was about a lot more than juggling his life on the farm with wedding planning.

“I think it was just pent-up anxiety from, obviously the wedding, the years of us dating — and what a lot of people don’t know is that we had just found out that we were having a [baby] girl,” Jesse exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, August 27, revealing that he and Alli hid her pregnancy throughout season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys.

Jesse, who had an anxiety attack earlier this season while tending to his farm duties, told Us that the pregnancy secret made his stress level go through the roof. (The couple welcomed their first baby, daughter Summer, in April after tying the knot in October 2024.)

“We didn’t tell anybody [in] the camera crew, [or] really any of our family at all,” he said of the baby bombshell. “So, it was all of that just kind of came to a head. And I had to let it out somehow.”

Looking back, Jesse said he was lucky to have Alli in his corner because she fully understood his anxiety.

“I have a good enough partner that allowed me to do that and was OK with me having anxiety about it all,” he recalled. “And I think just any relationship kind of needs that open line of communication to where you feel comfortable enough to talk about things and talk through things.”

Alli, meanwhile, exclusively told Us that Jesse telling her about his anxiety in real time was “a pivotal point in our relationship” because the cowboy “doesn’t talk about his feelings a whole lot.”

“For him to be able to kind of open up to me in that moment was just kind of special for us, and a turning point in our relationship,” she said, noting they ushered in their wedding day with more openness.

Alli — whose wedding will be featured on the McBee Dynasty finale next week — noted that she realized during that prenuptial discussion that they were “learning” and “growing” and “moving in the right” direction before saying “I do.”

The couple told Us that their special day was twofold. It took their relationship to the next level, but it also marked the start of their family ahead of daughter Summer’s birth.

“I had a rough first trimester,” Alli recalled, telling Us that she was “obviously pregnant” at the wedding, but for once she wasn’t plagued by morning sickness.

She explained, “For whatever reason, I had a very good day on my wedding day, like I didn’t feel bad. I felt great. It was a smooth day. I didn’t have any issues.”

Alli beamed as she remembered that moment, saying, “There weren’t any problems. It was pretty, you know, flawless the whole day.”
