Mercedes-Benz is all set to bolster its performance car lineup in India with the launch of the AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe on August 12, 2025. This follows the recent introduction of the AMG GT63 and GT63 Pro, continuing the brand’s push to offer high-performance vehicles in the Indian market.

Powertrain and Performance

At the core of the AMG CLE 53 lies a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo-petrol engine, delivering 442.5 bhp and 560 Nm of torque. Paired with an AMG TCT 9G multi-clutch automatic transmission, the coupe can dash from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph, placing it firmly in the league of serious performance machines.

Aggressive Design and AMG Styling

The CLE 53 Coupe stays true to AMG’s design ethos. It features the iconic Panamericana grille with vertical slats, flanked by sleek LED headlights. The front bumper boasts a larger air dam, enhancing its muscular road presence. The side profile is dominated by flared fenders and air exits behind the front wheel arches, while the rear houses a quad-exhaust setup, a gloss-black diffuser, and air vents on either side.

Buyers can expect 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, with 20-inch matte black alloys available as optional upgrades.

Luxury meets sport inside

The interior of the AMG CLE 53 blends sportiness with luxury. Highlights include Nappa leather upholstery, red accents on the seats, AC vents, and AMG steering wheel, creating a cabin that feels both premium and performance-focused.

Special Edition on the cards?

Mercedes-Benz is also likely to launch a limited edition variant in India. This version may feature yellow exterior highlights, dark chrome accents, and exclusive AMG branding—designed to appeal to customers seeking a more distinctive package.

What to expect

With bold styling, cutting-edge performance, and a premium interior, the AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ is set to be a compelling addition to the AMG family in India. More details, including pricing, are expected at the launch.
