Scott Wolf and his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, appeared in court for a hearing on his request for a protective order days after she reportedly left rehab, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
Scott, 57, appeared before a Utah judge with his attorney Bart Johnson, on Wednesday, September 10. Kelley, 48, was present and addressed the court. The court told Kelley that she needs her lawyer to “send the court a letter indicating that they are representing” her.
“Once that occurs, [Scott] will be directed by the court to send money directly to that attorney to pay for [Kelley’s] retainer [for the lawyer],” the court minutes revealed.
The judge said the terms of the temporary protective order “remain the same.” As Us first reported, Scott filed for a protective order on August 26 after Kelley’s arrest for leaking his phone number on social media. The actor called the police to report issues with his ex.
While an officer was at his home, Scott discovered Kelley had posted his cell phone number on an Instagram story. The actor showed the officer the message. A report noted Scott received over 20 calls within 10 minutes of Kelley posting the number.
The officer drove out to Kelley’s rental to talk to her about the social media post. Eventually, Kelley was placed under arrest by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and taken to the local jail for booking.
Kelley spent two nights in jail before being released on August 28 after posting a $5,000 bond. She is facing charges of electronic disclosure of personal identifying information and electronic communication harassment.
As part of her release, the judge ordered Kelley not to drink or use drugs. She was also ordered to participate in inpatient or outpatient medical treatment. The order also instructed her not to contact Scott or any witnesses involved in the case.
Prosecutors asked the court to ban Kelley from using social media but the judge did not sign off on the request.
On September 2, Kelley told the court she planned to check into a one-month rehab facility.
“This is what was asked of me by both Bart Johnson and Scott Wolf, now for six months — all I wanted to do was leave a marriage,” Kelley said in court. “I am excited to go to [the treatment center]. I’m looking forward to it. My brother is taking me. It’s fantastic. It’s a great place. I recommended it all the time as a mental health professional myself.”
On Sunday, September 7, People reported that Kelley checked into a rehab facility. Two days later, the outlet reported Kelley had checked out early and was staying at a hotel.
As Us previously reported, the former Party of Five actor filed for divorce on June 9 after 21 years of marriage. The former couple share three kids: sons Jackson, 16, and Miller, 12, and daughter Lucy, 11.
Kelley has faced numerous run-ins with the police since the split. She claims to have been held on two involuntary holds by officials in the past couple of months.
