Local Reits had a stellar 2024, and as we near the halfway point of this year, I caught up with Ian Anderson of Merchant West Investments to chat about their performance. Earnings and distributions are growing, and yields remain attractive. Most importantly, most local Reits still trade below their net asset value.

Santova has been a great small-cap on the JSE, and while recent results were perhaps a little light, I spoke with Keith McLachlan of Element Investment Managers about the stock. He’s happy with the numbers, pointing out that, importantly, they are growing clients, and their recent acquisition adds great potential and future revenue for the business.
