OnlyFans star Sophie Rain is reacting to NBA star Michael Porter Jr. questioning her $82 million income.
“I just think it’s funny how men can dribble a ball and cash $30 million checks without anyone calling that ‘lame,” Rain, 20, said, per Complex. “But if a woman builds a business from nothing and earns more than some MVPs, suddenly it’s a moral crisis.”
The back-and-forth began on Friday, August 29, when Porter, 27, referred to Rain’s earnings during a Twitch livestream.
“To me, it’s kind of lame that dudes is giving her 50M’s, bro … they’re over there in their little room being weird,” he said, clarifying that he wasn’t judging Rain. “To me, that’s wild.”
The Brooklyn Nets forward went on to wonder about the authenticity of her content. “They’re probably talking to some dude in the Philippines who’s running her account,” he speculated, sharing that he had never been an OnlyFans user himself.
Rain, for her part, denied the idea that she wasn’t behind her account. “They love to act like it’s all smoke and mirrors, but no one was handing me a contract, a trainer, and a brand deal at 19,” she said. “I worked 14-hour days, answered every DM, edited every post. Nobody faked that grind.”
Last month, the adult content creator made headlines when she alleged that she “almost made more” than NBA legend LeBron James in the past year.
“He made 56 million [and] I made 43,” Rain claimed on David Dobrik’s YouTube vlog in August, before the host asked her how much she earned in 2025 so far.
“I saw some rumors on Twitter about how much money you make,” Dobrik, 29, said, while Rain claimed that the speculation was “all true.” She added, “No one believes me, but it is very true.”
Dobrik then shared a screenshot of her bank account, which showed $82 million in total. Rain explained that she earned that amount in “the last year and a half.”
“I’m just so nervous. I’m paranoid ‘cause all of this could disappear tomorrow,” she admitted, while Dobrik reassured her that “82 million doesn’t disappear tomorrow.”
Dobrik proceeded to read Rain’s earnings report, stating that she made $28,472 in an hour and raked in $3.4 million in July. Rain revealed that she’s hoping to make $100 million, noting that she doesn’t need a romantic partner to follow in her footsteps. She added, “I’m looking for someone who doesn’t know who I am, which is hard.”
