Supreme Court rejects Rs 1,300 crore claim against SpiceJet

The Supreme Court has rejected a plea of more than Rs 1,300 against SpiceJet on Wednesday, July 23. Businessman Kalanithi Maran and KAL Airways sought a claim of over Rs 1,300 crore against the aviation company.

A bench comprising Justice PS Narasimha and Justice AS Chandurkar upheld the Delhi High Court's order and dismissed the damage claim by former SpiceJet promoter Kalanithi Maran and KAL Airways. Pronouncing the order, Justice Chandurkar said: "Both the special leave petitions are dismissed."
