Tata launches Nexon.ev DARK edition with ADAS safety tech, premium features & all-black look

India's one of the largest 4-wheeler EV manufacturers TATA.ev, on Wednesday, September 10, launched Nexon.ev "DARK" edition with ADAS safety technology. To enhance the premium appeal in the Nexon EV 45, the company has added features like rear window sunshade and ambient lighting, which offer more value to the customers, according to an official release.

A new introduction to the Nexon EV 45 line-up, the Dark Edition features an exclusive, all-black aesthetic with dark treatment on the exterior and all-black leather bolstered seats on the interior.

Nexon.ev "DARK" edition: Variant-wise Price

The Empowered +A 45 variant is priced at Rs 17.29 lakh, making it the base variant among the three. The Empowered +A 45 Dark comes in at a slightly higher price of Rs 17.49 lakh. Similarly, the Empowered +A 45 Red Dark is also priced at Rs 17.49 lakh.

It is clear from the pricing that the standard Empowered+ A45 is the most affordable, while both the Dark and Red Dark editions come at a similar premium, offering buyers additional styling or features at a slightly higher cost.

"These new introductions come with a 5-star Bharat-NCAP rating, making the entire Nexon.ev line-up 5-star safety certified and reaffirming the company's commitment to building safer vehicles for Indian roads.," the release said. The Nexon.ev 45 is also available with a lifetime HV battery warranty for the first owner, ensuring complete peace of mind for the EV customer.
