All-new Altroz: Tata Motors has launched the all-new Altroz, a car that blends style, safety, and smart tech—right in the heart of the premium hatchback segment. Starting at Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs 11.29 lakh, the new Altroz is ready to compete with popular models like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.

What sets this Altroz apart? For starters, it’s the only car in its segment to offer a diesel engine—a big plus for mileage-conscious drivers. Customers can choose from three engine options (petrol, diesel, and CNG), with two automatic gearbox options: DCA and AMT. It’s available in five variants and five colour options.

Tata has also paid special attention to boot space:

  • The CNG variant offers 210 litres
  • Petrol and diesel versions come with 385 litres

But the Altroz isn’t just practical—it’s also smart and stylish. It brings in segment-first features like:

  • Flush door handles and Infinity Connected LED tail lamps
  • A bold front design with 3D grille, LED headlamps, and integrated DRLs

Step inside, and the cabin feels premium with:

  • Executive lounge-style rear seats and improved thigh support
  • A soft-touch dashboard called ‘Grand Prestigia’ and elegant ambient lighting

On the tech front, the car packs a punch with:

  • A 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, digital instrument cluster
  • 360° surround view camera, voice-enabled electric sunroof
  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual 65W fast-charging ports, and wireless charging

It also comes with features that make city driving easier, like a blind spot monitoring system, inbuilt air purifier, and express cooling to beat the summer heat.

When it comes to safety, the Altroz truly stands out. It’s the only car in its class to receive a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. It now gets six airbags and ESP as standard, a stronger body structure, and even cornering LED fog lamps for better visibility at night.

Built on Tata’s trusted ALFA architecture, the new Altroz aims to give Indian car buyers a safe, stylish, and feature-rich option in the hatchback space—without breaking the bank.
