Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, has grown up before Bravo fans’ eyes.
Gia was 8 years old when Real Housewives of New Jersey, which also featured her sisters Gabriella (born 2004) and Milania (2005), filmed season 1. At the first reunion, fans learned Teresa was pregnant with her fourth baby girl. Teresa gave birth to daughter Audriana in September 2009.
When Gia was 13, her parents pleaded guilty to several counts of fraud. Teresa served 11 months in jail and was released in December 2015. After she came home, Joe served his three-year sentence. Following his 2019 release, Joe was deported to his native Italy and has since permanently relocated to the Bahamas.
While Joe and Teresa continued to live separate lives, Gia went on to study criminal justice at Rutgers University after her family experienced several legal issues of their own.

The college student underwent a nose job in 2020 at the age of 19. “Couldn’t be more proud of you … You are beautiful inside and out Love you to infinity and beyond ❤️,” Teresa commented on Gia’s Instagram post about the procedure.
Joe, meanwhile, told Extra at the time: “She looked beautiful before — whatever makes her happy.”
“My girls are so strong and resilient,” Teresa told Us about her daughters ahead of the season 11 premiere of RHONJ in February 2021. “And they have always been good at adapting to changes, which is something I feel is very important because life is very unpredictable.”
Gia graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in criminal justice.
“I am so proud of my devoted and intelligent daughter, Gia, for graduating [from] a stellar university, a huge milestone to accomplish in life,” Teresa captioned an Instagram photo of Gia’s graduation day. “Seeing you graduate college is one of the most special moments in my life. You definitely paved the path of success for your sisters, and you are an inspiration to them and me. I am so excited to see what your future holds.”
Gia launched her “Casual Chaos” podcast.
“I just want to relate to my audience, kind of give them my experience on things if anyone’s dealing with divorce, incarceration and then I also want to talk about things that are really relatable to young girls,” Gia explained in a May 2025 interview with Mario Lopez. “So health, wellness, girl talk, boy talk, just all the things that a girl would relate to. But also to help my fans if they’re also dealing with any hard times.”
Later that month, Gia defended her mother after the news that she was hit with approximately $3 million in tax liens by the IRS.
“My mom has been the sole provider for my sisters and I since the minute my father left for prison,” Gia said on her podcast. “The second my mom got home from jail, she has been working her ass off to make sure that my sisters and I live a stable life and that my family is financially stable. My mom has everything under control, and there’s nothing to worry about. … We’re doing perfectly fine over here”
