The Circle alum Sammie Cimarelli is expanding her family.
“I am pregnant!” Sammie, 30, exclusively shared with Us Weekly. “I will be welcoming a new addition to my family in September, and I couldn’t be more excited!”
While she knows the sex of her baby, the reality star — who is already mom to son Brae, 3, with ex Spencer Moore II — is keeping the news to herself.
“I have always planned on having more kids once I found out I was pregnant with my son,” she said. “I have eight siblings, and I genuinely don’t know what I would do without each one of them. I knew I wanted the same for my son.”
In her first and second trimesters, Sammie has felt “extremely peaceful” and relaxed as she tried to keep the news off of social media.
“It’s just been myself and my firstborn enjoying watching my belly grow,” she explained to Us. “I already can tell he’s going to be the best big brother.”
Fans met Sammie when she competed on The Circle in January 2020. Although the Miami native got third place on the show’s first season, she made a memorable impression on fans and continues to document her “single mama” life on Instagram.
As she pictures life with two kids running around the house, Sammie hopes to raise children who are “confident” and have the ability to “form their own opinions” of the people and world around them.
“I hope I am the role model they look up to and hope to be like but also hope to not be like (in the best way),” she said. “There are going to be characteristics I want them to take from me and others I want them to not take from me. I want them to fully be themselves and explore the world around them. All I can do is provide safety and comfort for them to fully be themselves. That’s what I plan to do.”
While Sammie continues to give credit to her circle of supportive friends and family for showering Brae and his upcoming sibling with love, she hopes her motherhood journey can inspire women to know that they can do it alone.
“You are capable. You are enough. You are love, and your children need a healthy mother above all else,” she said. “Healthy mentally, physically and emotionally. Heal yourself so you can provide your children with the best you. No one is perfect and every day, you have the opportunity to be a better you and therefore give your children a better you.”
