The Sweetest Photos of Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess’ Son Zane

Boy dad! Brian Austin Green welcomed his fifth son, his first with fiancée Sharna Burgess, in June 2022, and baby Zane has already stolen their hearts.

“Zane Walker Green. A part of my heart exists just for you,” the Dancing With the Stars pro gushed via Instagram Story in July 2022, several days after bringing her first baby home following childbirth.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and Burgess — who’ve been together since December 2020 — announced in June 2022 that their son was born on June 28, sharing a sweet snap of Green holding his hand. “My heart is now forever outside of my body,” the Australia native gushed via Instagram at the time.

Green — who danced with Burgess during season 30 of DWTS in 2021 — first became a parent in 2002 when he welcomed son Kassius with now-ex Vanessa Marcil. The actor’s brood later expanded as he welcomed children Noah, Bodhi and Journey with ex-wife Megan Fox.

While Green and Burgess were surprised by the timing of her first pregnancy, the ballroom dancer gushed that his children were elated to learn they’d have a new sibling.

“Those beautiful kids have been through so much change, and I’m always very sensitive with them,” Burgess exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2022, one month after she announced her pregnancy news. “Though they love me deeply, who knows how they’re going to feel about another kid?”

The choreographer added that the kids were “super excited” amid her pregnancy and said, “Good morning to Peanut,” the moniker they called Zane ahead of his birth.

“We have snuggle puddles in the morning,” Burgess told Us at the time. “They come in and jump on the bed and hug my tummy and kiss it. … They just can’t wait for him to be here.”

Since Zane’s arrival, the first-time mom has fallen deeper in love with her partner — and their son.

“I couldn’t be more in love with this stage in our lives,” she gushed in a July 2022 Instagram Story. “The bliss, the snuggles, the excruciating love. The exhaustion, the pain and even the adult diapers.”

She continued: “Having @brianaustingreen by my side throughout all of this and being everything and more that we could possibly need is something I am grateful for beyond words. I love you baby. And I appreciate you and all you do. Heaven is a place on Earth, and I found it.”

Burgess and Green got engaged in 2023.

Two days after giving birth, Burgess snuggled her little man via Story selfie.

The dancer couldn’t get enough of her bundle of joy as they lounged in bed.

“Ridiculously cute,” the Masked Singer alum wrote via Instagram, sharing a snap of himself snoozing beside Zane.

The Aussie posted a picture of herself and baby Zane taking a snooze together via Instagram on Tuesday, July 5.

Burgess gushed over her partner's parenting in a sweet July 2022 Instagram Story. "A dream," she wrote. "Don't pinch me."

"It's the morning milk comas and cuddles for me ," the new mom teased in July 2022.

"Birthday girl… this is my new favorite photo of you and I can’t get enough of Aunty Peta. Can you believe we are here? Finally 🥹," Burgess captioned a sweet Instagram shot of Peta Murgatroyd meeting Zane in July 2022. "I love you beyond and here’s to nearly 20yrs of friendship and life, with so much more to come. Happy birthday @petamurgatroyd !! I hope 36 brings you as much joy and love as it did me. 🫶🏼."

Burgess shared a sweet photo from the day Zane was born for a tribute on his dad's birthday just over two weeks later. "My one of a kind man, my best friend and the father of our child (omg I get to say that now) this year I’ll keep it sweet and simple," she gushed via Instagram in July 2022. "Happy birthday baby ♥️."

Green shared an adorable Instagram video of him kissing his son's belly in July 2022.

In July 2022, Burgess posted a sweet video via her Instagram Story of herself and the infant cuddling in bed. “Heaven,” she captioned the clip, which features a totally zonked-out baby Zane and a tired but happy mama. 

"3 months of you 🤍 3 months of watching you grow, of being in awe of you and of experiencing a love like I've never known. Motherhood is by far the coolest thing I've ever done and I'm so grateful for all of it," the dancer captioned a sweet montage of memories as she celebrated Zane turning 3 months old via Instagram in September 2022. "The magic, the love, the fear, the sleepless nights and the memories of it all. I am the luckiest Mama in all the land. 🥹."

“'Hey, so something’s come up and I won’t be able to make it ...,'" Burgess jokingly captioned a February 2023 photo of son Zane sleeping on her in February 2023. "Sorry not sorry ☺️."

“It’s hard, it’s easy, it’s beautiful and terrifying. It’s every emotion and feeling that I didn’t even know existed,” Burgess said of motherhood in a May 2023 post via Instagram. “It’s the greatest gift of my life that he chose me to be his mum in this lifetime and these simple everyday moments are the ones that I want to live in forever.” 

Burgess shared pictures of Zane’s big blue eyes as he turned 11 months old in May 2023.

“I see your heart and it’s beautiful. I’m so lucky that I get to witness who you grow into. But… if you could slow down a little I’d really love that too,” she wrote via Instagram.

Burgess shared a sweet picture of Zane drinking from a bottle “just because” in September 2023.

Zane looked precious in a smiley-face hat while enjoying some mashed avocados in November 2023.

“From mine to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone 🌲✨🫶🏼,” Burgess captioned a December 2023 photo of herself with Green, Zane and Green’s kids Kassius, Noah, Bodhi and Journey. “I Am. Wiped. TF. Out. Also…Favorite Christmas to date. Heart so full. 🫶🏼.” 

Zane played in the sand in photos shared by Burgess via Instagram in February 2024. 

“I can’t believe Zane is almost 2 years old. A moment ago I created a post for his first birthday and then time jumped to now,” Burgess shared via Instagram in June 2024. “And though I don’t know how it happened I also remember every single second of it. Every new word, every new experience or emotion. Every hard day and every good day. I just can’t believe they went so fast.”

“Living with curiosity and finding joy in the simplest of things is something this boy reminds me of daily. My little man full of wonder 🤍,” Burgess shared in September 2024, alongside photos of Zane picking flowers.

In a recap of February 2025, Burgess shared a sweet photo of Green bowling with Zane. 

“Missing my man and my bigger littles but can’t wait to have them all here soon 😭,” she wrote via Instagram.

Burgess shared a touching video of Zane’s first day of preschool, in which his half-siblings hyped him up. 

“I am utterly unwell… when did I blink?” Burgess questioned via Instagram, adding, “I SOBBED in the car afterwards. I also cried last night and this morning.”
