NFL star Travis Hunter and his wife Leanna Lenee have secretly welcomed a baby boy.

The couple revealed the news in a heartwarming YouTube video on Wednesday, August 27. The clip contains footage of several private moments, including: Hunter, 22, and Lenee, 23, celebrating a positive pregnancy test; viewing sonograms; learning the baby’s sex (“I knew it was gonna be a boy,” Lenee says); Lenee showing off her growing belly; and the parents-to-be in the hospital preparing for their little one to arrive while listening to his heartbeat on the monitor.

“Do you have a message for the baby?” Lenee asks Hunter.

“Gotta be better than me,” he replies.

The video goes dark while audio plays of Lenee giving birth to their crying newborn.

“That baby looks just like me,” Hunter says, seeing his son for the first time. He tells his wife, “You did good, baby.”

The couple captioned their video, “Dear Son, We love you. Love, Mom and Dad.”

Hunter and Lenee got married in Tennessee in May, one month after the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Hunter with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

“On 02/26/2022 you first asked me to be your girlfriend,” Lenee posted via Instagram at the time. “Now 3.5 years later, on 05/24/2025, I became your wife. You make me the happiest woman on this planet and I am so excited to spend forever with you.”

Back in July, Lenee shared a months-old video of herself crying on the bathroom floor via TikTok, writing, “I wish I could go back and hug December me 🥹.”

“I don’t even recognize this girl anymore,” Lenee added. “The amount you can grown [sic] and develop in just 6 months of devoting your life to Jesus and getting away from the shackles of the world and social media is truly astounding.”

She continued, “I wish the peace I found within Jesus on everyone who reads this. ❤️ Your identity in him matters, not how people choose to perceive you.”

In December 2024, Lenee deactivated her social media accounts after she was criticized for not standing up when Hunter was awarded the Heisman Trophy for being the best player in college football.

Videos from Heisman weekend also made the rounds that showed Lenee allegedly getting upset with Hunter. Fans believed it was because he had not paid enough attention to her at an Adidas pop-up shop.

“The things that I see people make up is truly crazy, because it’s not what happened,” Lenee explained in a TikTok video late last year. “I just think people are finding every single little thing and trying to make it something it’s not. Bird brain individuals are just accepting what they see online.”
