Trump asks Congress to formally approve DOGE-identified cuts

The White House on Tuesday asked Congress to approve $9.4B in rescissions for already approved spending, the Associated Press reported.

The so-called Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, had identified spending cuts from programs that had previously been approved by Congress.
