Chennai-based TVS Motor Company -- whose popular motorcycles include TVS Apache RTR, TVS Apache and TVS Ronin -- on Monday reported a 30 per cent year-on-year jump in its total sales to a record 5,09,536 units in August. The auto major's electric vehicle (EV) sales saw modest growth of 1.4 per cent, at 25,138 units, as the availability of magnets continued to pose challenges in the short to medium term, TVS said in a statement.

TVS Motor Company shares -- traded with the symbol TVSMOTOR on stock exchanges -- rose as much as 2.9 per cent to Rs 3,372 apiece on BSE, on track to finish higher for a second straight day.

TVS Motor two-wheeler sales jump 30%, domestic two-wheeler sales zoom 28%
TVS registered a 30 per cent jump in its total two-wheelers to 4,90,788 units in August 2025, with domestic sales in the segment growing 28 per cent to 3,68,862 units.
TVS registered total motorcycle sales of 2,21,870 units in August 2025. This marked an increase of 30 per cent over 1,70,486 units sold in August 2024.
The auto maker's scooter sales were up 36 per cent at 2,22,296 units.

TVS Motor Company exports up 35%
TVS logged total exports of 1,35,367 units in August 2025, up 35 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
The company had sold 89,768 units in the foreing markets in August 2024.
Three-wheeler sales
TVS registered total sales of 18,748 units in August, translating to a jump of 47 per cent over the year-ago period.
