Tamil actor Vishal’s upcoming film with director Ravi Arasu (Eetti, Ayngaran) was launched today (July 14) with a pooja ceremony. Starring Dushara Vijayan as the female lead, the film marks veteran producer RB Choudhary’s banner Super Good Films’ 99th production.
The makers released pictures from the pooja ceremony to announce the news. The event was attended by directors Vetri Maaran, Saravana Subbaiah, Manimaran, Venkat Mohan, and Saravanan, and actors Karthi and Jiiva. Cinematographer Arthur A Wilson and distributor Tirupur Subramaniam also graced the ocassion.

— Vishal (@VishalKOfficial) July 14, 2025Tentatively called Vishal 35, the upcoming film also stars Thambi Ramaiah and Arijai in pivotal roles. The makers have stated that the casting for other supporting roles is currently underway.
According to a press release, the filming will begin in Chennai, with the makers planning to complete it in a single stretch over 45 days.
With music scored by GV Prakash Kumar, the film has cinematography by Richard M Nathan and editing by NB Srikanth. Durairaj serves as the art director.
Notably, Vishal, who recently tasted success with Madha Gaja Raja, the Sundar C-directed film that released after almost 13 years, has announced films with director Ajay Gnanamuthu and Gautham Menon. His line-up also includes the long-delayed Thupparivaalan 2.
