Vivo has officially introduced its latest 5G smartphone, the Vivo Y400 5G, in India. Aimed at the mid-range segment, the device offers an impressive mix of performance and features, including dual 5G support, a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging, and a vibrant AMOLED display. The launch follows the debut of the Vivo Y400 Pro 5G in June.
The Vivo Y400 5G is priced at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, and Rs 23,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB model. It will be available in Glam White and Olive Green colour options starting August 7 via the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon, and select offline retail outlets.
Launch offers and EMI options
Buyers can avail up to 10 per cent cashback using SBI, DBS Bank, IDFC First Bank, Yes Bank, BOB Card, and Federal Bank cards. Vivo is also offering a zero down payment EMI plan for up to 10 months, making the device more accessible to budget-conscious consumers.

The Vivo Y400 5G runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits peak brightness. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

For photography, the Y400 5G sports a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary sensor alongside a 2MP depth sensor at the rear. On the front, it houses a 32MP camera, ideal for selfies and video calls.
