The pair have been married since 2013 and share three kids: Autumn, Atticus and Aidan. Despite her Hollywood fame, it’s obvious that family is at the center of Hewitt’s universe.

“I’m really proud of the family we’ve made together. I’m proud of us,” Hewitt gushed over her family of five in a December 2024 interview with People.

Brian Hallisay Is an Actor

Hallisay has an impressive acting resume, with credits ranging from The Client List to Revenge. He appeared alongside his wife in 9-1-1, portraying Doug Kendall. In 2024, Hallisay and Hewitt costarred in The Holiday Junkie.

“I got to fall in love on and off camera with my husband who will also be the man of your dreams after you see this movie. But play it cool ladies. He is mine,” Hewitt wrote via Instagram after working with Hallisay on the Christmas film.

Prior to becoming an actor, Hallisay had an entirely different career working as an investment banker on Wall Street. He decided to uproot his life and move to Los Angeles to make his longtime dream of becoming a star come true.

How Did Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brian Hallisay Meet?

The actress first met Hallisay while they were both working on the pilot for the 2011 television series Love Bites. But it wasn’t until they both began starring in The Client List the following year that their romance blossomed.

“I thought he was the most beautiful man I had ever seen in my life,” she told People in 2024. “I said to my manager and friend at the time: ‘I’m going to marry that man, and I’m going to have his children.’ She said, ‘Sweetheart, I think everybody thinks they’re going to marry that man and have his children.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, but I’m going to do it. Just watch.'”

Hewitt described their connection as “instant” for her, though she said it was more of a slow burn for Hallisay.

“He was kind and he was good and close with his family and he was smart,” she shared.

Hewitt and Hallisay got married in November 2013, five days before the birth of their eldest child, daughter Autumn. Their second child, son Atticus, was born in June 2015. Their youngest son, Aidan, arrived in September 2021.

Autumn has already expressed interest in becoming an actress, and has appeared on 9-1-1 alongside her parents.

“She was on 9-1-1,” Hewitt told E! News in May 2024. “She did play Doug and Maddie’s daughter in one scene — which some people caught and some people did not — a flashback of what would have happened if Doug and Maddie had stayed married. So that was actually Autumn.”

Hewitt and Hallisay celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in November 2024 with a sweet Instagram post.
