Russian beauty pageant winner Kseniya Alexandrova lived a happy, full life before she unexpectedly died on August 12, 2025, at the age of 30.
Alexandrova married her husband, Ilya, just four months before the pair were both involved in a car accident in Tver Oblast, Russia. Alexandrove suffered a traumatic brain injury after an elk ran into the road and collided with the vehicle in July. She died in the hospital the following month.
Her death was confirmed on social media by her modeling agency, Modus Vivendis.
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce that our colleague and friend, model Ksenia Alexandrova, passed away last night,” the post, translated from Russian, read. “Ksenia was bright, talented and extraordinarily bright. She knew how to inspire, support and give warmth to everyone around her. For us she will forever remain a symbol of beauty, kindness and inner strength.”

She Studied Finance and Psychology
Alexandrova was a student at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, where she studied finance and credit in 2016 before later pursuing a degree in psychology at Moscow State Pedagogical University. It appears she was working as a therapist at the time of her death, and often shared posts relating to the profession via social media.
“If I were asked what people most often come to therapy with, anxiety would definitely be one of the first on the list,” a translation of an April 2025 caption reads. “Sometimes the request on this topic is disguised as tension in the body, fatigue, the desire to control everything and the inability to make a decision.
She Represented Russia at Miss Universe
Alexandrova was named first runner-up in the Miss Russia competition in 2017, and went on to represent the country in the Miss Universe pageant the same year. Despite her success at home, she did not place among the top 16 finalists.
She Married Her Husband This Year
Alexandrova and her husband Ilya got married in April 2025. The beauty queen shared photos from the pair’s big day on Instagram. A translation of the caption on the post reads, “I remember every second and it seems that I am still living through the whole whirlwind of emotions,” and, “There was so much love, joy and sincere feelings on this day that my heart is still full of them.”

She Enjoyed Pilates
In December 2024, Alexandrova shared a post via Instagram about a new pilates studio — and encouraged her followers to give it a try.
“In Sadovye Kvartaly, one of the most atmospheric corners of Moscow, a new Pilates studio UFORM has opened@uform_studio❤️I immediately add this place to my favorites list: it is very cozy, stylish and incredibly atmospheric,” a translation of the caption on a photo of herself posing with a yoga ball read.
Alexandrove continued, “If you have not tried classes on the reformer yet, you should definitely fix that. It is truly the key to royal posture and a strong, healthy, fit body.”
