‘45’: Kannada film starring Shivarajkumar, Upendra and Raj B Shetty set for year-end release

45, the anticipated Kannada film, has locked a new release date. Starring Shivarajkumar, Upendra and Raj B Shetty, the movie was supposed to release on August 15, 2025.

By pushing the release date, the makers avoided a clash with Rajinikanth’s Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. 45 is produced by Ramesh Reddy under the banner Suraj Productions.

Ace music composer Arjun Janya, who is making his directorial debut with 45, has said that the film’s delay is due to the unfinished CG work. The makers have now announced that the multi-starrer will hit the screens on December 25, 2025.

The movie is touted to be a perfect blend of intense drama and ambitious action sequences. Satya Hegde has done the cinematography for the VFX-heavy movie.

Raj B Shetty was last seen in the sensational hit Su From So, which crossed the ₹100-crore mark at the box office. Upendra played a cameo in Coolie. Essaying the role of Kaleesha, Upendra stood out with his stylish avatar. 45 will be the first release of veteran star Shivarajkumar after his recovery from bladder cancer.
