Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson sparked speculation of a romance after working together on The Naked Gun reboot.
The costars play love interests in the comedy and gushed about working together on the project. While promoting the film ahead of its August 2025 release, Anderson and Neeson raised eyebrows as they showed physical affection toward each other on multiple red carpets.
Many were dying to know if the pair were together in real life, and Today host Craig Melvin decided to get some answers from the sources themselves.
“What’s the deal here?” Melvin asked Anderson and Neeson in July 2025. “You’re both single right now. There’s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?”
Neeson responded, “Craig!” as Anderson asked, “What? I don’t understand the question.”
After dodging the question, Neeson shared some insight about his bond with Anderson.
“I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry — as two actors,” he explained, to which Anderson agreed. “It’s like, ‘Oh, this is nice. Let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe.’ And that’s what we did.”

Being ‘Madly in Love’ Platonically
Neeson gushed about working with Anderson during a joint October 2024 interview with People.
“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson said of his costar. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
Anderson added that Neeson was a “perfect gentleman” who “sincerely looked after” her.
Supervised Dinners
Anderson shared that she and Neeson enjoyed nights out together with chaperones.
“I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant, so our relationship stayed ‘professionally romantic’ during filming,” she told Entertainment Weekly in May 2025.
Admitting Attraction
Neeson confessed that he found Anderson to be good looking in addition to being a talented actress.
“She’s got that feistiness and innate sense of humor … And very easy on the eyes, too,” he told EW in July 2025.
Red Carpet PDA in London
Anderson and Neeson walked the red carpet and posed for photos together at the London premiere of The Naked Gun. At one point, Anderson leaned over and kissed Neeson on the cheek. Neeson also had his arms wrapped around the actress.
Giving Baked Goods
Following their red carpet moment, Neeson revealed that Anderson would leave him freshly baked cookies and bread in his dressing room.

“That sourdough bread was something else,” he told People in July 2025. “And I know the effort it takes. I’m so not a cook, nor a baker. I’m not. But I did appreciate the gesture very, very much.”
Blending Families
At the Naked Gun New York City premiere in July 2025, Anderson and Neeson were all smiles and laughing while posing for photos. The event was a family affair as Anderson’s sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee, and Neeson’s sons, Micheál Richardson and Daniel Neeson, walked the red carpet as well.
Pretend Smooches
During the pair’s joint appearance on Today in July 2025, Anderson and Neeson showed off their chemistry as they pretended to make out. After being “caught” by the camera, Neeson and Anderson played coy as they hugged one another.
