Ariana Grande Addresses 'Eternal Sunshine Tour' Resale Ticket Drama

Ariana Grande has addressed her fans’ struggle to secure tickets to her upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour.

“Hi my angels, I have been on set all week, but I wanted to let you know that what’s been happening with the secondary ticket resellers has been brought to my attention,” Grande, 32, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, September 13. “Of course, I am incredibly bothered by it. I’ve been on the phone every second of my free time, fighting for a solution.”

She added, “I hear you and, hopefully, we will be able to get more of these tickets into your hands instead of theirs. It’s not right. I just wanted you to know that my team and I see it and that I care very much. We will do, and are doing, everything we can.”

Grande concluded with a heartfelt message to her fans.

“I love you all so much,” she added. “Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

Tickets to Grande’s The Eternal Sunshine Tour went on sale Tuesday, September 9, quickly selling out within minutes despite fans’ lengthy wait in Ticketmaster queues. While many fans were unable to individually purchase tickets, the seats were bought up by third-party retailers, which then try to upsell each ticket for less reasonable prices.

Grande announced late last month that she planned to tour her latest album, which dropped in February 2024.

“I think it is very different in a lot of ways,” the Wicked star said on the “Zach Sang Show” about recording Eternal Sunshine after the LP came out. “It’s also touching on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, so it’s kind of a concept album, which I also haven’t done before. That’s also kind of why I don’t want to put out a second single before the album because I would like for it to be heard in one piece.”

She added, “It says everything and nothing at the same time. It’s very vague and very specific — all at once. [This record was] the most emotional writing process, for sure.”

Grande’s album recently won Best Pop and the single “Brighter Days Ahead” took home Video of the Year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.

“I want to start again with my fans, thank you so so so much. I love you with all my heart [and] I have since I was a teenager, since we first crossed paths, and I will for my whole life,” Grande said in her acceptance speech earlier this month. “Art has been a safe space for me since I was a kid. I’m so grateful that I get to do this with my life, and to have such fiercely loving and supportive fans.”

She continued, “Thank you for growing with me and being so supportive of me as a human being navigating in real-time, which creative itch needs to be scratched, whether it’s acting, music, musical theatre or a little bit of tour. This project is about the hard work that is healing all different types of trauma and coming home to our young selves and creating safety in our own lives, which is a lifelong process and a daily exercise. If you’re on that journey, please continue onward because I promise there are brighter days ahead.”
