Pierson Fodé saddled up to play a Bachelor-type character in Netflix’s The Wrong Paris.
“A young woman joins a dating show thinking it’s in Paris, France, but it’s actually in Paris, Texas,” a logline reads. “She plots a way to get eliminated until her unexpected feelings for the bachelor complicate her plans.”
Former child star Miranda Cosgrove stars as Dawn, an aspiring artist hoping the reality TV show is her chance for a free ticket to Paris, where she hopes to one day attend art school. Fodé plays Trey McAllen, a ranch owner smitten with Dawn from the moment they cross paths under the TV lights.
“What drew me in was that Trey’s not a polished reality-TV bachelor, he’s a homegrown cowboy who somehow ends up with cameras in his face and 19 women fighting for his attention,” Fodé told Bello magazine in September 2025. “He’s figuring it out as he goes, which is where the humor and heart come from. Comedy happens when authentic moments get messy, vulnerability happens when you’re okay looking stupid, and charm is what sneaks up on you in between.”

Who Does Pierson Fode Play in ‘The Wrong Paris?’
Fodé plays ab-bearing cowboy Trey McAllen III.
“Trey’s like if Matthew McConaughey accidentally wandered onto The Bachelor set and thought, ‘Alright, guess we’re doing this,’” the actor told Bello of the role in September 2025. “Playing him let me blend all of that … and yes, there’s a mechanical bull involved.”
Pierson Fode Is an Acting Pro
Fodé has been acting since 2012, scoring roles in the likes of Storytellers, Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List, Kill Game, The Bold and the Beautiful, Out of Hand, Disney Channel’s Jessie and Hulu’s upcoming Swiped.
“I look for roles that scare me or make me laugh, the kind that make me think, ‘How am I going to pull this off?’ That fear usually means growth,” Fodé told Bello. “Whether it’s a conman hiding secrets, losing 48 pounds to play an addict in Dope Queens, a quarterback under pressure or a cowboy bachelor dodging whipped cream on national TV, I want characters that challenge me.”
He continued, “If the script makes me laugh, gives me chills, or makes me ask questions at 2 a.m., I’m in. Or if it pays the rent. But the through-line is always the same: there has to be heart under the surface. Something that truly entertains. As a fan of movies, I make movies for other fans.”
What Has Pierson Fode Said About Working With Miranda Cosgrove on ‘The Wrong Paris?
“This one’s gonna be the next #1 @netflixfilm you binge between existential crises and questionable snack choices,” Fodé wrote via Instagram in November 2024. “We barely slept, laughed till it hurt, and faced off against horses and mechanical bulls like it was the Wild West out there. So bring your popcorn, your tissues, and maybe a therapist. This one’s got it all — and yes, I mean everything. You’re welcome 🤠.”
Pierson Fode Actually Worked With Miranda Cosgrove Before ‘The Wrong Paris’
Fodé made his acting debut on iCarly in 2012, playing a character named Todd in a singular episode. Cosgrove, of course, starred as the titular Carly Shay in all five seasons plus a brief Paramount+ revival.
Is Pierson Fode Dating Anyone?
Fodé previously dated his Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List costar Victoria Justice from 2013 to 2015. He was later in a relationship with actress Saxon Sharbino from 2020 to 2022, but it is not known whether they are still together.
