‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’: Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju to star in Girish AD’s movie

Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju will star in director Girish AD’s next movie. Titled Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, the Malayalam film is produced by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran of Bhavana Studios.

Bhavana Studios had previously collaborated with Girish AD for Premalu, the blockbuster romantic comedy starring Mamitha, Naslen and Sangeeth Prathap. The makers announced the new project on July 04, 2025 (Friday).

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is penned by Girish and Kiran Josey. Vishnu Vijay, who composed the hit songs of Premalu, is roped in as the music director.

“Super excited to share that Bhavana Studios is teaming up with Girish AD for Production No.6, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, a romantic tale starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead,” Bhavana Studios posted on Instagram.

Mamitha Baiju will next be seen in Vijay’s highly-anticipated Tamil film Jana Nayagan and the Pradeep Ranganathan starrer Dude. She will also be part of Suriya 46, starring Suriya and directed by Venky Atluri.Nivin Pauly will feature in an Akhil Sathyan film, apart from playing an antagonist in Benz, starring Raghava Lawrence and produced by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Girish AD was supposed to direct Premalu 2, starring Naslen and Mamitha in lead roles. Reports say the project has been kept on hold.
