Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Kirk (née Frantzve), has been in the news since his death earlier this week — but eagle-eyed Bravo fans might know her from somewhere else.
Erika, 36, appeared on season 3 of Summer House, which — thanks to a resurfaced TikTok video — fans can watch firsthand. In her cameo, Erika got set up by Carl Radke with his housemate Jordan Verroi.
Carl, 40, told the cameras that Erika was “beautiful and she happens to be religious,” which he said made her an ideal date for Jordan. (Jordan was open about his Christian faith while on the reality show.)
The pair were introduced at a rooftop bar in New York City in summer 2018, but the episode didn’t air until spring 2019.
During a confessional, Jordan said he liked Erika’s “beautiful blonde hair, her smile, her radiance,” adding that “her outward beauty and inner beauty” is what he is looking for “in a woman.”
The date ended with Erika telling Jordan he was a “bright light in a very dark place” as they bonded over their faith.
The same week that her episode aired in May 2019, Erika claimed that she was offered a full-time role but turned it down amid studying for her juris master’s degree from Liberty University.
“To the [ones] that sent me insane amounts of encouragement & prayer as I silently pursued this degree,” Erika wrote via Instagram, thanking her loved ones following her graduation. “And made my own career sacrifices (like turning down being a cast member for @bravotv Summer House & other various TV show opportunities).
Us Weekly has reached out to NBC for comment.
Despite seemingly hitting it off with Jordan on the show, the pair didn’t appear to date outside of filming. In fact, shortly after meeting Jordan in summer 2018, she was introduced to Charlie, whom she later married.
Erika and Charlie first connected in September 2018. They got engaged two years later and tied the knot in May 2021.
“5 years ago today, we sat inside Bills Burgers in NYC deep in conversation and banter over theology, philosophy and politics and at the end, you paused, looked at me and said, ‘I’m going to date you,’” Erika recalled of their meeting via Instagram in September 2023. “Dating with intention to marry is way different than dating to ‘see where it goes.’ Let God write your love story.”
The couple went on to welcome two children, a daughter and a son, in August 2022 and May 2024, respectively. (The pair chose to keep their children’s names and faces off social media.)
On Wednesday, September 10, Charlie was shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. The right-wing conservative commentator and cofounder of Turning Point USA was later pronounced dead at the hospital. He was 31.
Erika has yet to address her husband’s death publicly, but celebrities and politicians have been posting tributes all week.
“RIP Charlie Kirk. Please remember, no matter what your political beliefs, that this man had a wife and two beautiful children who no longer have him,” Josh Duhamel wrote via Instagram on Wednesday. “Please pray for this madness to stop.”
Summer House, meanwhile, filmed season 10 earlier this year with Carl still part of the cast.
