Canada’s convenience store giant Alimentation Couche-Tard (OTCPK:ANCTF) said Wednesday it has withdrawn its $47B proposal to buy 7-Eleven parent company Seven & i Holdings (OTCPK:SVNDY) (OTCPK:SVNDF), citing a "persistent lack of good faith engagement" by the Japanese retailer.
