Dylan Efron has assured Dancing With the Stars fans that he is on the mend after suffering an injury.

The former Traitors star, 33, light-heartedly announced on Saturday, October 25, that he broke his nose — though he promised the facial snafu will not hold him back from performing on DWTS’s next live show.

“Broke my nose, but dont [sic] need it to dance,” Efron announced via Instagram. “I’m seriously all good.”

Efron went on to thank his Dancing With the Stars professional partner Daniella Karagach, her fellow pro Pasha Pashkov and celebrity contestant Danielle Fishel for supporting him through the injury.

“I’ll never forget the way Dani, Pasha and Danielle WOULDN’T leave me side when it happened, warms my heart to have friends like them,” he beamed.

What Former ‘DWTS’ Contestants Have Said About Injuries Sustained on the Show

In one Instagram slide, Efron confirmed that the injury occurred in Dancing With the Stars rehearsals.

“We were trying a new move and I took an elbow right here,” he said as he pointed to his broken nose. “And, it made a really loud crack. So, not how I wanted to end the rehearsal day, but we’ll be back dancing tomorrow.”

Several others within the Dancing With the Stars community showed their support for Efron in the comment section.

“Oh em gee,” DWTS professional Val Chmerkovskiy replied, with celebrity contestant Robert Irwin offering his best wishes by writing: “What!!!!! Feel better mate.”

Pro Mark Ballas added, “I hope you’re ok brother. sending you love.”

“WHAT?!! @dylanefron hope you’re ok,” pro Emma Slater chimed in.

Efron’s Traitors costar “Boston” Rob Mariano made light of his friend’s injury with some tongue-in-cheek instructions for Karagach.

“Keep him in line @daniellakaragach,” the Survivor alum, 49, teased.

The injury comes on the heels of another triumphant week for Efron and Karagach, as they survived elimination during Wicked Week on Tuesday, October 21, with their rumba set to “I’m Not That Girl” from the musical blockbuster scoring a solid 32 out of 40 points.

Efron and Karagach’s next challenge will be a spooky rendition of the Viennese waltz set to Tommee Profitt and Brooke’s cover of the Elvis Presley classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for Halloween Week on Tuesday, October 28. Other exciting routines lined up for the holiday episode include Alix Earle and Chmerkovskiy dancing a tango to Billie Eilish’s “Bury a Friend” as well as Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik setting their contemporary dance to Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do.”

Meanwhile, Dancing With the Stars viewers recently met Dylan’s 5-year-old sister Olivia Efron as part of his Dedication Week routine, though his brother Zac Efron has yet to make an appearance in the ballroom.

Dylan told Extra that Zac is simply “doing his thing” and while he may not have appeared on DWTS yet, his older brother is still “supporting me every day.”

As part of his Dedication Week performance, Dylan chose the song “Rewrite the Stars” from The Greatest Showman, which Zac performed with Zendaya in the 2017 movie. Dylan later told Us Weekly exclusively that the song choice “just made sense.”

“It wasn’t even a thought,” he confirmed. “That’s like my favorite performance by Zac, so it was special.”

Dylan also recently confirmed that Zac has offered encouragement throughout his DWTS journey, including the High School Musical actor even sharing his memories of attending tapings of the ABC show in the past.

“He’s like, ‘The best part is going to be those live shows,’” Dylan told Us. “He was saying, like, it’s such a good feeling.”

Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
