Final Trade: Sensex, Nifty close in green; benchmarks end above 81,900 and 25,100 on IT, auto gains

Stock Market Closing: Indian equity benchmarks closed firmly in the green on Thursday, extending their recent gains as IT and auto shares led the advance. The BSE Sensex settled at 81,900.58, up 351.85 points or 0.43 per cent. The NSE Nifty 50 ended at 25,111.30, rising 105.80 points or 0.42 per cent.
