Netflix has released the first trailer for House of Guinness, a new drama from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight that explores the fortunes and conflicts of one of Ireland’s most prominent families. The series premieres globally on September 25.

Set in 19th century Dublin, the show begins with the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness, whose leadership transformed the family brewery into an international powerhouse. The aftermath of his passing sets off power struggles within the dynasty, with his children confronting the personal and political consequences of their inheritance.

From the creator of Peaky Blinders, HOUSE OF GUINNESS premieres September 25. Starring Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn, Fionn O'Shea, and James Norton.

James Norton stars as Sean Rafferty, while members of the Guinness family are portrayed by Anthony Boyle (Arthur), Louis Partridge (Edward), Emily Fairn (Anne), and Fionn O’Shea (Benjamin). The cast also includes Dervla Kirwan, Jack Gleeson, and Niamh McCormack.

House of Guinness continues Knight’s interest in stories of family power and social upheaval. His recent project A Thousand Blows for Disney+, a period drama about Victorian boxing, was renewed for a second season earlier this year.

Behind the scenes, the Netflix series is produced by Kudos. Knight serves as executive producer alongside Karen Wilson, Elinor Day, Martin Haines, Tom Shankland, and Ivana Lowell. Cahal Bannon is series producer, with Howard Burch producing. Episodes are directed by Shankland and Mounia Akl.
