Love Is Blind alum Ashley Adionser’s estranged husband, Tyler Francis, wasn’t completely forthcoming with her about his relationship to his “sperm donor babies.”
“There’s so much more to this story than is public knowledge, and because he kept lying, I had to do my own research,” Ashley, 32, said on the Wednesday, May 21, episode of the “What’s the Reality?” podcast. “I had to resort back to old detective habits and search this man’s computer.”
She continued, “When I searched that computer, I found the mother lode on more than one thing. Not just this topic.”
Ashley and Tyler, 34, got engaged sight unseen on season 7 of Love Is Blind. After meeting in person, Tyler admitted that he is the biological father of three children conceived via sperm donation. He continually asserted that he wanted to help a friend, who identifies as a lesbian, have children and that he wasn’t involved in the kids’ lives. (The children’s mother, however, has since claimed he is a present figure. Tyler denied the accusations.)
Ashley stuck by Tyler’s side throughout the drama before eventually realizing that his alleged lies were too much. She announced their split in January and noted on Wednesday’s episode that she finally filed for divorce six months later.
In doing her due diligence on the matter, Ashley said that she found a “series of Google Meet chats” between Tyler and his friend that spanned multiple years. (Us Weekly reached out to Tyler for comment about Ashley’s claims, which he has not publicly addressed.)
“What I will say is they both created such a messy, messy, messy, messy situation by their actions and how they went about things from beginning to end,” Ashley claimed, without revealing what was included in the messages. “There is major complexity of how those children were conceived.”
Ashley further alleged that Tyler’s friend was aware that he planned to join Love Is Blind before the season aired in fall 2024.
“He told me that he hadn’t seen her or [the kids] in years,” Ashley said. “But, in all actuality, he had seen her and the kids the day before he left, so I had no idea about that at all.”
Now that Ashley has healed from their breakup, she believes that Tyler was “in no way shape or form” ready to get married.

“He should have never went on the show,” Ashley stated, claiming that Tyler “presented” himself as being ready to tie the knot. “This was a mind[f***] for me, big time, trying to rationalize how he slipped through the cracks. He presented himself as that man during filming, to the point that everybody loved him. He’s very charismatic … [and] he seemed like he was ready for an honest marriage.”
Ashley also claimed that Tyler told the Love Is Blind production team that he fathered children via sperm donation before filming began.
“He did tell me that he did tell the casting producers and whatever that he was a sperm donor,” she said. “Honestly, it’s his word against hers at this point, because [there’s] no proof if no one was there — if no one was right there in the room with you all. … I think that’s how he slipped through, by probably deleting everything, and maybe his mom’s [social media] page was private or whatever, I don’t know.”
