Jessica Alba’s Dating History: From Cash Warren to Danny Ramirez

Jessica Alba has had some high-profile relationships throughout the years. Alba began dating Michael Weatherly after meeting him on the set of Dark Angel in 2000, when Alba was 18 and Weatherly was 30. The twosome got engaged in 2001, but eventually called it quits in 2003. “It just didn’t work out,” Alba recalled in a 2005 interview with Cosmopolitan. “I was so young, 18, when I started dating him. I was a virgin. I knew I wanted to be in love with the first person I slept with, because for almost everyone I knew, the first experience made them feel like s***. So I wanted to be really careful that he was going to be in love with me and wasn’t just going to leave me.” Following her split from Weatherly, Alba was briefly linked to Mark Wahlberg and Derek Jeter before she began dating Cash Warren in 2004 after meeting on the set of Fantastic Four. The twosome tied the knot in 2008 and went on to welcome kids Honor, Haven and Hayes in 2008, 2011 and 2017, respectively. Weatherly and Alba met on the set of Dark Angel in 2000. The pair got engaged in 2001, but eventually split in 2003.

Alba went on to share that it “just didn’t work out” because she was “so young” when she started dating him.

“I was a virgin. I knew I wanted to be in love with the first person I slept with, because for almost everyone I knew, the first experience made them feel like s***,” she told Cosmo in a 2005 interview. “So I wanted to be really careful that he was going to be in love with me and wasn’t just going to leave me. It’s really, really, really difficult to have the same occupation as the person you’re with — especially when you’re both actors.”

The actress explained how “actors are pulled in so many different directions that unless you both are absolutely into it through thick and thin and completely sure about each other, it’s just hard.”

“I’ve decided I’ll never date an actor again,” she added.

Wahlberg and Alba were rumored to have a fling in 2003 after they were spotted together multiple times.

In 2004, Alba and Jeter sparked romance rumors, however, the twosome never confirmed or denied it.

Nearly one year later, Alba was asked if the rumors about her dating Jeter and Wahlberg were true, but she explained that she didn’t “want to say.”

“I will say they’re both really nice guys,” she told Cosmo in 2005. “It’s funny because my mom would [read about my dating someone and] go, ‘I want to meet so-and-so.’ Or she’d say, ‘You’re not dating him as far as I’m concerned because I haven’t met him.’”

Alba explained that she had a “wild period with men for a second,” but she wasn’t with any “more guys than any other girl.”

“It’s just that most people aren’t written about in magazines,” she clarified.

After meeting on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004 in which she starred and he served as a production assistant, the twosome started dating and later tied the knot in a 2008 Beverly Hills wedding. They went on to welcome daughter Honor, daughter Haven and son Hayes in 2008, 2011 and 2017, respectively.

The pair gushed about their marriage a lot throughout the years, including six months before their eventual split.

“I think, ultimately, the friendship and support and just knowing that your partner has your back means everything to us,” Warren exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2024. “I think that would be the secret, is just having each other’s back. It’s hard work, but we roll up our sleeves and we do it. It’s wild. It’s the longest relationship I could have ever imagined.”

After 16 years of marriage, Alba and Warren called it quits in January 2025.

“We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,” Alba said in an Instagram statement. “Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”

Nearly six months after announcing her split from Warren, Alba sparked romance rumors in July 2025 with Ramirez when they were photographed departing Cancun, Mexico, together, per TMZ.

Following their public outing, a source told Us that Alba is “seeing” Ramirez.

“They were friends before it turned romantic. Jessica is still keeping things casual,” the insider explained, noting that they “have a lot of mutual friends” with each other. “They run in the same social circle, and that is how they were connected.”
