Vignesh Shivan unveils new ‘Love Insurance Kompany’ poster on Pradeep Ranganathan’s birthday, film to release August 1

Director Vignesh Shivan marked actor Pradeep Ranganathan’s birthday on Friday by unveiling a new poster for their upcoming film Love Insurance Kompany, with fresh momentum to the promotional campaign ahead of the film’s newly announced August 1 release.

Taking to Instagram, Shivan extended his wishes to the actor, writing, “Happy Birthday @pradeep_ranganathan. Wishing you only blockbuster years! God bless you with all the happiness in the world.” The poster, which features Ranganathan sporting a robotic arm and surrounded by a backdrop of futuristic robots, included the phrase “First Punch on 1.8.25”.

Love Insurance Kompany stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, with S.J. Suryah and Gouri Kishen in supporting parts. Billed as a romantic entertainer, the film is produced by actor Nayanthara under the Rowdy Pictures banner and directed by her husband, Vignesh Shivan.

Back in April, Shivan had confirmed that post-production had begun and praised his team for their effort during the filming process. “Abundance of passion, love, honesty and hard work from each and everyone has built Love Insurance Kompany,” he wrote at the time, adding, “Without compromising even for one frame, we are proud that we have put in our best efforts to make an original, fresh entertaining movie.”

The film boasts a strong technical crew, with cinematography by Ravivarman, music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav. Stunt sequences are choreographed by Peter Hein, further hinting at a genre-crossing narrative with action elements.
